Good morning, everyone!

Last month, we successfully held the "3rd China Laundry and Dyeing Industry Summit Forum" and the "8th China International Laundry and Dyeing Industry Exhibition" in Guangzhou. Today, we welcome the finals of the "5th National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition." Within just over a month, the reason we could successfully present these three major branded events of the China General Chamber of Commerce Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee to the world is not only due to the continuous development and growth of our laundry and dyeing industry, but also inseparable from the strong support of local governments, relevant departments, and leaders, the close cooperation and support of local enterprises and associations in the laundry and dyeing industry, and the hard work of all event organizers and preparers.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt thanks to the local leaders present today, the leaders of enterprises and associations, the organizers and preparers of this competition, and all organizations and individuals who have helped and supported us in various ways!

This "National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition" has received title sponsorship from industry enterprises, with seven competition events each sponsored by different companies. They are: "Funaite Cup" Front Desk Clothes Receiving Skills Competition, "Elephant King Cup" Stain Removal Skills Competition, "Sea Lion Cup" Garment Ironing Skills Competition, "Zhengzhang Cup" Mending Skills Competition, "Jiebao Cup" Leather Garment Maintenance Skills Competition, "Top Cup" Garment Dyeing Skills Competition, and "Green Ring Cup" Four-Event All-Around Skills Competition. On behalf of the China General Chamber of Commerce Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee, I express deep gratitude for the strong support of these enterprises!

Next, I would like to talk about three issues.

First, we must closely combine the hosting and carrying out of the "National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition" with the promotion and implementation of the "Laundry and Dyeing Industry Management Measures."

First, "Advocating green and healthy washing, improving technological innovation capabilities, establishing and implementing brand strategies, and following the path of specialization, standardization, and modernization" is the development direction of China's laundry and dyeing industry during the "11th Five-Year Plan" period. Therefore, it is necessary to closely combine the hosting and carrying out of the "National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition" with the promotion and implementation of the "Laundry and Dyeing Industry Management Measures."

Second, by holding the "National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition," we further strengthen contact with local commerce, industry and commerce, environmental protection, and other government departments, promote the publicity and implementation of the "Laundry and Dyeing Industry Management Measures," expand the social awareness and influence of standardized operation and service in the laundry and dyeing industry, and create a good social environment for the industry's development.

Third, we should use the "National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition" as a starting point, combined with the promotion and implementation of the "Laundry and Dyeing Industry Management Measures," to advance the industry's specialization, standardization, and modernization. Skills must be honed internally, and publicity must be widespread. The competition's events and requirements should be linked with honest service, safe production, energy saving and consumption reduction, improving the technical level and service quality of practitioners, and protecting consumers' legitimate rights and interests, achieving a win-win effect of service skills and service awareness.

Fourth, the results of the "National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition" should be linked with the implementation of regulations we have formulated, such as the "Laundry and Dyeing Enterprise Grading Regulations," "Laundry and Dyeing Service Standards," and "Laundry and Dyeing Service Quality," to protect the legitimate interests of law-abiding enterprises and suppress and combat unfair competition.

Second, we must make the "National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition" a high-standard, most authoritative boutique and brand event for the entire industry, and make it a service brand of the Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee for industry enterprises and organizations.

Compared with previous sessions, this National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition has three outstanding features:

First, the "National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition" has been included by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security as a national second-class competition, enhancing the competition's status and social influence; starting from this competition, contestants who win the top three in the national finals will be recommended by our association for the title of "National Technical Expert," which is the highest honor for national labor technicians.

Second, the number of competition events has increased from four in previous sessions to seven in this session, providing contestants with more opportunities to compete and showcase; the vocational skills competition events and levels reflect the technical level of China's laundry and dyeing industry serving society, create opportunities for enterprises to improve products, technology, and services, provide a stage for outstanding industry technical talents, and open doors for laundry and dyeing practitioners to learn and exchange.

Third, the awareness of participation from local industry associations and enterprises has greatly increased, and the competition scale is unprecedented; this vocational skills competition has gone through two stages: regional preliminaries and national finals. A total of 470 people from 24 regions participated in the regional preliminaries, and today 13 teams with 124 contestants are present at the national finals. This shows that our association's work in "guiding the vast number of laundry and dyeing practitioners to study technology diligently, follow the path of professional growth, showcase vocational skills and spirit, and promote the development of the laundry and dyeing industry" has achieved gratifying results.

In the future, we will continue to work closely with the National Employment Training Guidance Center, local associations, vocational schools, and enterprises to explore the linkage model between vocational skills training and vocational skills competitions. We will carry out multiple levels of vocational skills training, further improve the development of new projects, accelerate the development and compilation of training materials for various job positions, so that the training projects in the laundry and dyeing industry gradually cover all types of jobs within the industry. Once conditions are ripe, we will gradually launch competition projects such as "Salesperson", "Store Manager", and "Equipment Maintenance Technician", striving to create high-quality and branded competitions for enterprises and organizations in the laundry and dyeing industry, making the "National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition" a service brand of the Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee for industry enterprises and organizations.

Third, hopes and requirements for this "National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition"

This "National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition" is hosted by the China General Chamber of Commerce and the China Employment Training Technical Instruction Center, organized by the Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce, Tianjin Municipal Commerce Commission, Tianjin Municipal Chamber of Commerce, and Tianjin Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association, and co-organized by local industry associations such as the Beijing Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association, Shanghai Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association, and Chongqing Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association. I hope this will be another grand event for our laundry and dyeing industry to conduct collective dialogue, exchange and inherit technology, enhance trust and understanding, and carry out pragmatic cooperation.

The "National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition" is also a grand gathering of elites from our entire industry. The fact that each contestant has advanced step by step from various sub-competition areas to the finals itself proves your strength. I hope everyone can do what you have learned and learn what you do; put down your burdens and compete with a light heart; compete with skill and achieve results. To all the staff of the organizing committee, you have made full preparations for this competition. I hope you will continue to work hard and do a good job in organizing and judging the finals, bringing a perfect conclusion to this "National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition."
