In July, Guangzhou experiences occasional showers amid the scorching summer heat. The hurried footsteps accompanied by a slight coolness allow people to appreciate this rare kindness from nature.
At the gracious invitation of Mr. Lu Zhiji, President of the Guangdong Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association, the delegation of the China Laundry and Dyeing Industry Senior Work Conference toured the Zengcheng Lychee Garden. The endless lychee trees shaded the rolling hills; looking up through the dense branches, clusters of ripe red fruits were everywhere; wandering along the winding paths, one could freely pick the delicious fruits like a refreshing rain; pointing and chatting, softly reciting beautiful verses, savoring the joy of harvest; reminiscing about the entrepreneurial years and sharing friendship, the atmosphere was harmonious and joyful.
Subsequently, according to the meeting schedule, the delegates visited the "Tiantian Laundry" factory located in the Shangshao Industrial Zone, Xintang, Zengcheng, Guangzhou. After listening to the introduction and explanation by the factory manager, they also toured the washing workshop of "Tiantian Laundry". During the visit, some delegates showed great interest in the slogans reflecting the "Tiantian" corporate culture and management philosophy that were visible everywhere in the factory.
At 4 p.m., the China Laundry and Dyeing Industry Senior Work Conference was officially held in the conference hall of the Triumph Arch Hotel in Xintang, Zengcheng, Guangzhou. The meeting was chaired by Shu Qi, Executive Deputy Director of the Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee. According to the agenda, first, Executive Deputy Director Pan Wei reported on the work on behalf of the Secretariat, followed by an explanation of the "Laundry and Dyeing Industry Management Measures" by Executive Deputy Director Wang Houzeng.
Then, the meeting discussed topics such as "in-depth study and implementation of the 'Laundry and Dyeing Industry Management Measures' including ideas, methods, and requirements," "opinions and suggestions on further improving the association's work," and "opinions and suggestions on closer enterprise-association ties, enhancing industry cohesion, and establishing high-level dialogue and communication mechanisms including ideas, approaches, and methods." Vice directors Chen Youqing, Chen Qijun, Ren Fengmei, Lu Zhiji, Zhu Lijun, Sun Shanjia, and others successively delivered keynote speeches. The discussion was very enthusiastic, and the delegates put forward many constructive opinions and suggestions on the topics.
After carefully listening to the speeches of the delegates, Wang Shuyuan, Deputy Secretary-General of the China General Chamber of Commerce and Director of the Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee, made a concluding speech.
Representatives attending this China Laundry and Dyeing Industry Senior Work Conference included Director Wang Shuyuan; Executive Deputy Directors Pan Wei, Shu Qi, Wang Houzeng; Director of the Expert Committee Wen Lisheng; Vice Directors Chen Youqing, Lu Zhiji, Wang Xueren, Chen Qijun, Ren Fengmei, Zhu Lijun, Sun Shanjia, Huang Jinneng, Song Zikui, Zu Xiguang, Pu Jinyong, Wang Zhenhai, Wang Baofeng, Ping Ju; special guests You Hao, Wang Liang, Lin Jun; and invited representatives from Shanghai Hangxing and Beijing Riguang enterprises. Some management personnel from the Guangdong Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association also attended the meeting.
In the evening, Mr. Lu Zhiji, President of the Guangdong Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association, hosted a lavish reception banquet in the banquet hall of the Triumph Arch Hotel on behalf of Guangdong Tiantian Laundry Chain Co., Ltd. Liao Zhiwen, Executive Director of Guangzhou Xinzhilian Exhibition Service Co., Ltd., Japanese laundry friends including Mr. Kanou Katsuzo, Chairman of the Kanto Laundry Association, and some keynote speakers of the summit forum were also invited to attend the reception. The banquet was held in a warm and joyful atmosphere throughout. Lu Zhiji, Pan Wei, and Kanou respectively delivered enthusiastic congratulatory speeches on behalf of the participants. Everyone frequently raised their glasses to celebrate the reunion of new and old friends and expressed their best wishes for the laundry and dyeing industry's prosperous future year after year.
On the way back to the hotel by car, the city lights were already shining brightly, and neon lights flickered. Immersed in Guangzhou's charming nightscape, the delegates seemed reluctant to leave, as if still immersed in the anticipation of tomorrow.
