On August 15, the founding conference of the Mudanjiang Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association and the 4th Mudanjiang Laundry Technology and Leather Care Exchange Seminar were held at Danjiang Holiday Hotel. More than a hundred industry colleagues from inside and outside the province attended the meeting. Pan Wei, Executive Deputy Director and Secretary-General of the China Commercial Laundry Committee, some local associations, and relevant local leaders attended the event and delivered speeches. At the same time, the national intermediate-level qualification assessment for "Leather Care Worker" was conducted. Those who pass will receive the "National Occupational Qualification Certificate for Leather Care Workers." This certificate is issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China. It reflects the technical level and professional ability of leather care practitioners and is one of the important certificates for practitioners to work with certification. It also enjoys preferential policies such as local government talent strategies and retirement benefits.
Mudanjiang currently has more than 600 laundry and dyeing enterprises of various types, with over 2,000 employees and an annual turnover of about 100 million yuan. The establishment of the Mudanjiang Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association marks a further improvement in the regional industry organization structure and will undoubtedly play a positive role in the future development and standardized construction of the industry.
