Regarding the Organization of the Chinese Laundry and Dyeing Industry Delegation
To Japan to participate in the "13th Asia-Pacific Retailers Conference" and
Inspection Activity Notice
To all local laundry and dyeing industry associations and related laundry and dyeing enterprises:
The "13th Asia-Pacific Retailers Conference" will be held from October 10 to 12, 2007, at the Tokyo International Conference Center in Japan. The "Asia-Pacific Retailers Conference" is the largest and most influential event in the retail industry in the Asia-Pacific region, jointly organized by the Asia-Pacific Retailers Alliance. The conference is held every two years and has been held 12 times so far.
The theme of the "13th Asia-Pacific Retailers Conference" is "Advanced and Coordinated," with an expected attendance of 8,000 to 10,000 participants. At that time, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will attend the conference and deliver a speech. The conference will arrange 23 speeches and invite 52 guests, including UNESCO goodwill ambassadors, to speak on site.
To promote the healthy and rapid development of China's laundry and dyeing industry, strengthen communication, exchange, and cooperation between Chinese laundry and dyeing industry managers and their foreign counterparts, and learn from Japan's advanced technology, management, and operational experience, the Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee of the China Commercial Federation plans to organize a delegation of senior domestic laundry and dyeing industry managers to participate in the "13th Asia-Pacific Retailers Conference" and conduct professional inspection activities. The specific matters are hereby notified as follows:
1. Inspection Time
It is planned to depart on October 8, 2007, for a total of 10 days.
2. Inspection Content
1. Attend the opening ceremony and welcome banquet of the "13th Asia-Pacific Retailers Conference";
2. Inspect Baiyangshe and Beineiku laundry factories;
3. Inspect Ghana laundry factory and stores;
4. Inspect Mitsubishi Heavy Industries laundry dragon;
5. Visit the Kanto Laundry and Dyeing Cooperative and Japan Linen Association, and hold discussions;
6. Arrange visits to detergent factories according to the schedule.
3. Participants
1. Senior managers of well-known enterprises in laundry and dyeing, laundry chemical production, and equipment manufacturing industries;
2. Heads of local laundry and dyeing industry associations and government authorities.
4. Inspection Fees
14,800 RMB per person, including visa fees, international air tickets, overseas accommodation and meals, translation, and other expenses.
5. Registration Method
Please fill out the "Registration Form" as soon as possible and mail or fax it to the Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee of the China Commercial Federation. After approval by the International Cooperation Department of the China Commercial Federation, an overseas opinion solicitation letter, overseas mission notice, and specific inspection itinerary will be issued.
