Establishment of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Laundry Industry Association
On March 29, 2007, the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Laundry Industry Association and the First Member Representative Conference were grandly held in Urumqi. This marked an important step forward in the modernization and scaling up of Xinjiang's laundry industry.
The conference proceeded in a warm and intense atmosphere. Hundreds of representatives unanimously approved the association's charter by raising their hands, elected the standing leadership team, and passed the Integrity Service Convention. Mr. Zeng Weifeng, Vice Chairman of Xinjiang Danlu Group, became the newly elected first president of the association.
After objectively evaluating the current situation and challenges faced by the autonomous region's laundry industry, President Zeng Weifeng emphasized: solving these problems requires not only the efforts of laundry industry entrepreneurs and various government departments but also urgently needs the role of industry self-regulatory organizations. The establishment of the autonomous region laundry industry association, through the creation and improvement of the industry's self-regulation mechanism, realizes the principles of self-education, self-service, and self-protection, which is conducive to maintaining and regulating the market economic order. Meanwhile, the association can effectively promote the overall healthy development of the industry and the common progress of enterprises within the industry through communication and coordination between enterprises, between enterprises and the market, between enterprises and consumers, and between enterprises and the government.
The conference read out a congratulatory telegram sent by the Laundry Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce. Leaders from the Autonomous Region's Economic and Trade Commission, Civil Affairs Department, Labor Department, Consumer Association, and other relevant departments attended the conference and delivered enthusiastic speeches.
