Life ages easily but heaven ages slowly, welcoming the new year every year. Now we welcome the new year again, and the laundry and dyeing business is especially prosperous. Once a year, the universe shifts, time passes away. Time comes, the sea and sky are vast and clear, allowing me to go freely.
In the past year, we moved forward together and experienced so much; we persistently pursued and created brilliance.
This year, our motherland celebrated its 60th anniversary. Under the guidance of the scientific outlook on development, post-disaster reconstruction has achieved remarkable results, crises have been resolved and deadlocks broken. Although the global economy remains uncertain, overall improvement has begun to show; our laundry and dyeing industry held the first China International Laundry Festival, with the purpose of "unity, cooperation, and development" gradually becoming a reality. Enterprises grew, the industry developed, popularity gathered, influence expanded, and all work indicators reached their best historical levels.
The development of enterprises collectively represents the development of the industry; industry associations should and must consciously act as faithful representatives of the industry, establishing the idea that "only those who act have a position, and those with a position should act more," improving the ability to serve enterprises and the industry, and promoting the healthy and orderly development of the industry. To this end, we have always adhered to the path of "unity and win-win" development strategy; always adhered to the path of standardized development; always adhered to the path of brand development; always adhered to the path of talent-driven industry; always adhered to the path of professional service for the industry.
Looking forward to 2010, whether enterprises or association organizations, they should take responsibility for the development of the industry: we are the masters of the laundry and dyeing industry and naturally should shoulder the important task of revitalizing the national laundry and dyeing industry. We have the responsibility to do our utmost to protect and build our industry's product brands, service brands, and event brands. This should become a consensus among every laundry and dyeing person. With such consensus and support, our goals will surely be achieved.
Today, we can say: our confidence in achieving our goals comes from our understanding of ourselves and the strength we have developed to this day; we once had bottomless fear of competition, but now we are no longer afraid; we know the social responsibilities we bear, and responsibility is also a kind of productivity, producing social benefits as well as economic benefits. Professional skills, professional standards, professional image, professional achievements and effectiveness—this is the new commitment of the Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee to focus on serving the industry in the new year.
On the occasion of bidding farewell to the old and welcoming the new, the Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce sincerely thanks and warmly greets those who have always cared for, helped, and supported our work, and those who have made efforts and hard work for the laundry and dyeing cause in our country.
