The China General Chamber of Commerce Laundry and Dyeing Committee publishes the textbook "Textile and Garment Ironing Technology"

To promote the comprehensive development of the laundry and dyeing industry, improve the ironing skills of practitioners, and fill the gap of the lack of detailed ironing knowledge books for many years, the Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce specially invited Mr. Wu Ruizhang, an expert in the laundry industry of the China General Chamber of Commerce and former senior technician of Beijing Prand Laundry Company, who spent more than a year compiling the textbook "Textile and Garment Ironing Technology." This book has also been included in the laundry technology series of the Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce.
The book "Textile and Garment Ironing Technology" consists of six parts: basic knowledge of textile fibers, basic knowledge of ironing, use and maintenance of ironing tools and equipment, garment ironing, mechanical ironing, and a teaching DVD. The various knowledge in the book focuses on practical ironing operations, including the physical and chemical properties of textile fibers, the use and maintenance of ironing machines, ironing of different styles of clothing, and methods for handling yellowing accidents, snagging, and thread pulling. Mr. Wu Ruizhang has provided a detailed explanation of ironing technology from shallow to deep based on nearly 50 years of theoretical summary and practical experience. In addition to common garments such as suits and shirts, the book also analyzes ironing techniques for more difficult garments like tower skirts and pleated skirts, and has filmed close-up practical demonstration DVDs for each style of garment, enabling practitioners to quickly understand and master the skills. It is believed that this book will become an essential manual for beginners and advanced practitioners in ironing.
"Textile and Garment Ironing Technology" was published in May 2010 by China Radio and Television Publishing House and is exclusively distributed by the Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce.
