According to the notice "Laundry Committee [2010] No. 09" from the Laundry Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce, the "Second Member Representative Conference of the Laundry Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce" is scheduled to be held in Shanghai in late August this year. The schedule of this conference coincides with the "2010 China International Laundry Industry Exhibition," and the meeting content is divided into four parts, with the specific arrangements as follows:
1. Visit the "2010 China International Laundry Industry Exhibition"
This exhibition is co-hosted by the Laundry Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce and Xinzhilian Exhibition Service Co., Ltd., with active cooperation and support from local laundry industry associations and related enterprises in Shanghai and other places. It is the only professional laundry exhibition in China this year. The exhibition was established in 2000, and this year will be the 11th consecutive exhibition.
The exhibition will be held from August 26 to 28, 2010, at the Shanghai World Trade Mall Exhibition Hall (No. 2299 Yan'an West Road, Changning District).
2. Observe the "First National Commercial Service Industry Skills Competition - Laundry Professional Skills Competition"
This competition is part of the "National Commercial Service Industry Skills Competition" and differs in focus from the biennial "National Laundry Industry Vocational Skills Competition." This competition includes three events: service business knowledge, leather bag care skills, and travel shoe care skills.
The competition starts on August 26, 2010 (the first day of the exhibition), and the venue is on-site at the exhibition.
3. Participate in the "National Laundry Technology and Management Lecture and Demonstration"
This meeting is the second national technical exchange event this year, following the "National Laundry Technology Exchange and Demonstration" held in Chengdu in May. The exchange will focus on topics such as washing methods for new fabrics, key skills for ironing clothes, cleaning of fur garments, and prevention and handling of laundry disputes, with lectures and demonstrations by well-known domestic experts.
The lecture and demonstration will be held on August 27, 2010 (the second day of the exhibition), at the exhibition site.
The above three activities are important parts of this conference. All member representatives are requested to attend on their own; there will be no unified organization.
4. Attend the General Assembly of All Member Representatives
The General Assembly of all members is an important part of this conference. It is the Laundry Professional Committee's quinquennial re-election meeting, where the new leadership team, executive director units, and directors will be elected.
1. Participants: Member units of the Laundry Professional Committee, presidents and secretaries-general of local laundry industry associations, leaders of well-known national laundry enterprises, leaders of well-known manufacturers of laundry equipment and related products, and representatives of other related units applying to attend. Special invitations: Leaders from relevant national departments, leaders of local government laundry industry management departments, and relevant media.
2. Registration: Please fill out the "Second Laundry Professional Committee Representative Conference Attendance Receipt" upon receiving the notice and return it to the Laundry Professional Committee on time.
3. Check-in: From August 26 to 28 in the morning, at the Laundry Professional Committee booth on-site at the exhibition, representatives will check in and receive conference badges and related materials.
4. Conference time: August 28 at 13:30; Location: Meeting Room 5, Shanghai World Trade Mall Exhibition Hall (upstairs in the exhibition hall).
