As of now, the "2009 National Laundry Industry Well-Known Brand Survey Online Voting Activity" organized by the Laundry Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce has passed the halfway mark. Data feedback from relevant departments shows that the first half of the voting survey progressed smoothly with gratifying results.
This voting survey activity officially started on May 1, 2010. From the beginning, it received widespread attention and active participation. Websites such as Sina, Tencent, and China.com all published news about the event and provided follow-up reports. The number of daily voters increased exponentially. As of the time of writing, the number of voters has reached over 300,000, with a total of more than 1.5 million votes. "Our company purchases laundry cards every year, and being responsible for this work requires understanding the laundry industry. This voting activity has let me know more good laundry brands," said Ms. Liu, an administrative staff member of a foreign enterprise, to the reporter. "I usually go to a laundry shop that provides pretty good service. When I heard about the online voting selection, I also voted for them online. Their current vote count is quite high, so it seems my choice was right," said Sina netizen sunny.
It is understood that this kind of survey activity is not the first time. In 2008, the Laundry Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce successfully held a survey and, based on the results, published information on well-known laundry brands in China for 2007. This played a positive role in promoting brand building in the laundry industry, enhancing the image of enterprises and products, and grasping industry development trends. Therefore, the "China Laundry Industry Well-Known Brand Survey" has been listed by the Laundry Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce as a regular task, conducted every two years. This time, the participation has greatly increased through online voting.
This survey activity attracted participation from many well-known brands in the domestic laundry industry: well-known laundry service brands include Funait, Rongchang•Ilsa, Kaber, Elephant King, Hanhuang, Guangdong Tiantian, Sanyo, Jieshen, Haiyou Donini, Leiqier, Qiaoliya, Blanche, GEP Keyipi, Taijie, Kangjie, Zhengzhang, Fulilai, and others. Laundry equipment brands include Sea Lion, Hangxing, Zhongshi, Chengfei, Yousa, Oasis, Shenguang, Yasen, etc. Laundry chemicals and auxiliaries include Beijing Riguang, Innovation, Topli, Fennis, Yunzongque, Youke, Fennichi, and so on. "The popularity of this event has indeed exceeded our expectations. Whether it is the enthusiastic registration of enterprises or the passionate voting of netizens, it fully reflects the increasing awareness of laundry industry merchants about brand building and the growing recognition of laundry brands by consumers. This is also the driving force for the continued healthy and rapid development of China's laundry industry," said Pan Wei, Executive Deputy Director and Secretary-General of the Laundry Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce.
It is reported that the voting activity for the "2009 China Laundry Industry Well-Known Brand Survey" will end on May 30, and the entire survey activity will conclude on July 30 this year. The survey results will be announced during the "2010 China Laundry Industry Exhibition" in Shanghai in August 2010. At that time, based on the survey results, outstanding enterprises awarded the title of well-known brands in China's laundry industry will be commended, thereby promoting brand building in China's laundry industry.
