The 2010 National (Chengdu) Laundry and Dyeing Technology Exchange Conference concluded successfully in Chengdu. More than 260 colleagues from the laundry and dyeing industry from over twenty provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions including Beijing, Shanghai, Hebei, Sichuan, Chongqing, Shandong, Fujian, Taiwan, Henan, Liaoning, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi, Guangdong, Gansu, Qinghai, Ningxia, and Tibet shared this grand event. This technical exchange event specially invited experts Qi Datong and Jia Runze from the Expert Committee of the Laundry and Dyeing Industry of the China General Chamber of Commerce as keynote speakers. Pan Wei, Executive Deputy Director and Secretary-General of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce, also gave a speech titled "Research on the Current Situation and Development Trend of China's Laundry and Dyeing Industry," which sparked enthusiastic responses among attendees. Everyone was highly motivated to learn, and during breaks and after the expert lectures, many participants surrounded the experts to consult on more professional questions. During the exchange time, many participants even brought numerous problematic garments in boxes seeking expert assistance, and the experts generously shared their knowledge without reservation.

The "Laundry and Dyeing Family" fellowship dinner further deepened mutual understanding and feelings. Many talented and skilled laundry and dyeing professionals attending the event performed wonderful programs during the dinner. The Tibetan girl Mima Quzhen led everyone in dancing the Guozhuang dance, which pushed the atmosphere to a climax.

On the opening day of the conference, a brief award ceremony was held to present plaques, trophies, and certificates to nine contestants who won the title of "National Technical Expert" in the "6th National Laundry and Dyeing Vocational Skills Competition," as well as to units and outstanding teachers recognized as excellent training centers in the laundry and dyeing industry for 2009. The conference also arranged visits and exchanges at Chengdu Meilian Lihua Laundry Equipment Manufacturing Factory and Minshan Laundry.
This exchange conference ended perfectly with a farewell dinner full of reluctance. Through this exchange activity, everyone reached a common understanding that the trip was worthwhile.
