[Laundry Innovation] Laundry APP completes the entire service within 72 hours

Recently, Yang Yingxue, who lives in Qingyang District, Chengdu, whenever there are clothes to be washed at home, organizes and bags them, then opens an app called "Paopao Laundry" on her phone. About an hour later, a logistics staff member arrives to pick up the bag of clothes and informs her, "Within 72 hours, I will deliver the cleaned clothes to your home."
What makes laundry easier is this app called "Paopao Laundry," where customers do not need to personally go to the laundry shop to drop off or pick up clothes. Wang Mao, who applied the internet to the traditional laundry industry, was inspired when a blanket at home needed laundry shop pickup, "The internet presents consumer demand more directly to product suppliers. Why not introduce this model into the laundry industry?"
After resigning from a real estate company, Wang Mao established a company in November 2013 and received several million yuan in angel investment. The first thing he did was to form a technical team to develop and launch the "Paopao Laundry" app: users can see the cleaning prices for each type of clothing when they open the software. After selecting the type, filling in the delivery address, and completing payment online, the company’s backend receives the user’s order information.
Currently, "Paopao Laundry" mainly uses manual pickup and delivery, but this is temporary and will be replaced by "smart laundry cabinets" in the future. To control costs, Wang Mao did not build his own laundry factory but adopted an "online laundry shop" operation model, cooperating with quality-assured laundry factories. In just half a year, "Paopao Laundry" has registered over 50,000 users, and the company now receives hundreds of orders daily on average. This year, Wang Mao plans to expand beyond Sichuan to capture market share in other provinces. Wang Mao believes, "In the internet industry, the key is to control user resources. If we don’t expand, we will only be eaten away by others."
