1 Scope
This standard specifies the principles and basic conditions for the grading evaluation of various types of laundry and dyeing stores.
This standard applies to laundry and dyeing stores engaged in laundry and dyeing business activities equipped with corresponding equipment.

3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in SB/T 10783-2012 and the following apply to this document.
3.1
Laundry and dyeing industry
An industry specializing in the business services of washing, ironing, dyeing, mending of clothes and public textiles, and care of leather products.

3.2
Laundry and Dyeing Store
A business unit engaged in services such as washing, ironing, dyeing, mending of clothes, and care of leather products.
4 Grading and Marks
4.1 The qualification conditions for laundry and dyeing stores are divided into five grades, from high to low: Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3, Grade 4, and Grade 5.
4.2 The grade mark of laundry and dyeing stores uses pentagrams as symbols: five pentagrams represent Grade 1, four pentagrams represent Grade 2, three pentagrams represent Grade 3, two pentagrams represent Grade 4, and one pentagram represents Grade 5.
4.3 The grade certificates and plaques of laundry and dyeing stores are uniformly produced and issued by the evaluation agency. The public display of the grade plaques is: the top shows the "Grade Store Name"; the middle shows the grade by the number of pentagrams; the bottom is the evaluation unit.
5 Evaluation and Management Principles
5.1 Grade evaluation is conducted on a voluntary application basis by enterprises.
5.2 The authorized agency acts as the grading evaluation agency to conduct grade assessments for applying laundry and dyeing stores. Stores meeting the corresponding grade standards will be issued the respective grade certificates and plaques by the evaluation agency.
5.3 The grading evaluation agency shall conduct a re-evaluation of the graded laundry and dyeing stores every three years, and an annual inspection to confirm the grade. Stores failing the annual inspection shall be given a deadline for rectification; if still unqualified after rectification, the grade will be downgraded or canceled, and the grade certificate and plaque will be withdrawn. Stores not inspected for one year or more shall be re-evaluated.
5.4 Laundry and dyeing stores applying for an upgrade within the validity period should submit a written application for grade improvement one year after the current grade evaluation.
6 Basis for Grading and Evaluation Methods
6.1 The basis for grading includes basic conditions, business premises, service facilities, business management, service specifications, technical strength, etc.
6.2 An independent laundry and dyeing store is evaluated for one grade. If an enterprise consists of several branches, affiliates, and chain stores, each store should be evaluated separately according to its actual situation.
7 Basic Conditions
7.1 Business activities shall comply with SB/T 10624 and the "Laundry and Dyeing Industry Management Measures".
7.2 The quality of laundry and dyeing processing of clothes shall meet the requirements of SB/T 10625.
7.3 Care of leather and fur garments shall meet the requirements of GB/T 22929.
7.4 Garment dry cleaning shall comply with GBZ/T 199.
7.5 Interior decoration shall comply with the relevant requirements of GB 50222 and GB 13495.
7.6 Indoor air quality shall meet the requirements of GB/T 18883.
7.7 Laundry and dyeing stores of all grades shall comply with the provisions of Appendix A.
